The Airborne program starts at 09.30 hrs and ends at 16.30 hrs. At Ginkel Heath at 10.00 hrs over 700 parachutists will land. After this Mass Drop the official commemoration starts. After this the parachute drops will continue at 14.00 hrs until 16.30 hrs. English parachutists of the 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, soldiers of the 11th Air Manouvre Brigade from The Netherlands, para’s from America and several NATO countries and many Pathfinders will jump from Hercules and Dakota’s.

Driel is annually commemorated the Polish contribution to the Battle of Arnhem is annually commemorated at Driel. During Operation Market Garden on September 21, 1944 at Driel about 1,000 Polish paratroopers of the 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade led by Major General SF Sosabowski were dropped.
